Starting a Tradition | Traditional Scrapbook Page

this is a traditional page that i did this week of my dad and reagan at the County Fair. they are "starting a tradition" of riding the Merry-Go-Round each year, they have done it every year since 2009!
i used the summertime collection from echo park for most of the layout, there is some creative memories and i think dcwv.
i used the "life is good" & "life is celebration. life is right here and now." from two different Studio AE monthly stamp sets from technique tuesday. and the "snap shot" is from Heyday by Studio calico & hero arts. i LOVE all those stamps! i use them alot when scrapbooking!!

i used "oh happy day" stamp set for the years and i stamped it in Eggplant elegance ink from Stampin' Up! and i used my big shot to cut out the tabs using this die from Paper Trey Ink. also use that alot when scrapbooking.

for all the die cuts i use country fair cricut cartridge to cut out different things that reagan loves to get at the fair. I love how overall bright and energetic the page is. it took several sketches to get it to look the way i wanted but patience won in the end because i LOVE this page!!!!

the warriors | traditional scrapbook page

today we have a traditional page, sorry the picture isn't better. i photograph them in my living room on my coffee table because my living room has 3 big windows. on sunny days i dont have problems but today was cloudy. anywho. .  . here is what i did & used
the background 12x12 is from a sport stack it has a messy grid and some grungy black marks on it. the green at the top is from that same stack it has white sports word on it like "player, VIP, ect", i used a black pen and outlined the green just to give it a bit of definition. I matted the photos on some white cardstock and stuck them down then put two strips of black & white polka dot washi tape from the SMASH line of K&Co. i use that tape alot! then i used sports mania cricut cartridge to cut the glove, ball and bats. then i used boys will be boys cartridge to cut his name. (fyi: both cartridges are on sale at Custom Crops thats where i get alot of my cartridges from) i used my SMASH label maker to add "and the warriors" under his name, the label has adhesive on it but i cant get it to stick very well, so i used my tiny attacher to make sure it stays put! :) then i added three little pieces of paper at the top and rounded the corners and outlined them.

Halloween Treat - Nugget Box

Here is a little project I've been working on today.... Nugget Boxes!!! I figured out how to cut this whole project out with my cricut!!! In other words.... I LOVE NUGGET BOXES! Before cutting them out by hand was a pain! But now they are SO MUCH FUN AND SUPER EASY!!! I'm working on making this project into kits, so anyone can make them. This box holds 3 Hersey nuggets or a fun size Kit Kat/Twix.

Well, one of my sisters and I are getting ready to go to Kansas City, MO for a couple days to work on some creative projects for the company she works for. When K1's (my oldest sister, there are five of us and our names all start with K's so, K1 is the oldest and K4 (me) is the second to the youngest)boss found out I have a Cricut, I had to come... and bring the Cricut. So, I thought I would download the Sure Cuts A Lot program so we could have more freedom with the Cricut. I'm testign it out now and it ROX! I will post pictures of the trip and some project I come up with using the new program! But for now.. I must play some more!!!
